Attractions
Arlington has a small but valuable set of attractions. If you know of something that should be an attraction, we are interested in seeing what is necessary to make it a reality.
- Ft. Caroline
- An area of land in east Arlington where the first European establishment was located (French Huguenots). Ft. Caroline is a replica of the fort built in 1564 by René Goulaine de Laudonniére and the French Huguenots, who established the first Protestant colony in the New World. The museum contains the French and Indian artifacts found in the area. Ft. Caroline is a National Park Service property located in northeast Arlington, on Ft. Caroline Road. The Ribault monument is a short distance away on SaintJohns Bluff.
